A seminar was organized in collaboration with Department of Foods, Nutrition & Dietetics, College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan on 16th October 2019 to celebrate World Food Day. Dr. Aparna Deshpande, Nutrition Officer, UNICEF & Dr. Renaldo, Head, department of emergency medicine, Reliance Hospital shared valuable inputs with the participants. The audience was sensitized on the impact of natural calamities on the nutritional needs of population, the role of a nutritionist and the nutritional support for victims of calamities.
