A manual was developed for the doctors/nurses in Palghar area in collaboration with FRCH, Pune. This manual was intended to equip instructors with basic nutritional knowledge and practical skills to train health workers. This manual provides information and practical guidelines on various topics of nutrition including introduction to nutrients, balanced diet, dietary diversification, nutritional deficiencies, adolescent nutrition, first 1000 days, early childhood nutrition as well as the nutritional counselling and nutrition education.
Nutrition Society of India, Mumbai Chapter in collaboration with College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan Mumbai; MGM School of Biomedical Sciences, MGMIHS, Navi Mumbai and Lifeness Science Institute, Mumbai is organizing a National E-Conference PaushtiCon 2023 on 27-28th January 2023 with the theme “Ensuring Sustainability in Food & Nutrition “. The conference invited abstract submissions pan-India. We received 103 abstracts that were blind reviewed. From the 103 abstracts, we accepted 80 abstracts for Poster presentation.
