A program on Nutrition awareness, health & hygiene was conducted at Deenayat School, Mumbai on 4th March 2018. 100 Adolescent girls (14-19 years) from low socioeconomic families participated in the event who were assessed for their growth, Nutritional status and checked for their anaemia status and Tuberculosis. The event has been sponsored by Charak & Zydus Group. 92 girls were found to be anemic and none tested positive for TB. The
awareness session emphasised on nutritional anemia, hygiene and health, and also on menstrual hygiene.
