A capacity building workshop has been organised at Mahad, for the community workers of an NGO-Swadesh foundation who work along with ICDS employees on 18th February 2018. Sessions were conducted on Basic Nutrition concepts and Nutritional assessment techniques which also included practice sessions of dietary recall and Food frequency questionnaire. Teaching material and low cost nutritious recipes was distributed was provided to Swades Foundation. Around 600 beneficiaries from various locations in Raigad District such as Mhalsa, Poladpur, Borli, Jasawali, Chamberkind and Mahad attended the training program.
