NSI Mumbai organized a one-day seminar in association with MMP Shah Women’s College, Mumbai to celebrate National Nutrition Week 2018 on 8th September 2018. Around 280 participants attended the seminar. The seminar covered of information on National Nutrition Mission and the need for transition from Food Security to Nutrition security; assessment of
nutrition security etc., Young nutritionists were sensitized to the national nutrition problems and the role of NGOs. The seminar was sponsored by Kellogg’s India. Marico, Rite Bite, Danone, Mother’s diet kitchen, Eighty Twenty, Kamani and Tenshi life care. Poster and recipe contest was organised for young budding scientists and nutritionist.
